Connecting a chain (front view)

To connect a chain to a gear (front view):

  1. Drag a chain on from the Parts library and drop it.
  2. Drag a gear on from the Parts library and drop it.
  3. Hold the mouse over the chain to show the connection pads at each end.
  4. Click on a connection pad and drag the end of the chain towards the connection pad on the gear.
  5. The chain end snaps to the gear's pad and the pad turns black to show the connection will be made when you drop the chain.
  6. Release or click the mouse button to drop the chain and create the connection.

To remove or disconnect the chain, select the chain and then delete it.
